St. Edith Stein Fall 09/10

 

With the fall Sundowners league full (36 teams) we decided to follow the team mates to their previous league at Ten Pens Bowling in Katy, TX. The St. Edith Stein Fall 09/10 league is open to members of the Catholic Church and their friends. Being that it is a four person league, Katie, Janna and I thought we'd be by ourselves. Luckily, there was a member looking for a team. With Tasha on board, we are really yucking it up.

These lanes are so different that Copperfield. Currently they are real wood, oily as hell and the racking system needs serious work. Some of the pins even sound dead or cracked. It's a big difference, but one that seems to be in my favor. Later this season, they will be replacing the wood flooring with a synthetic floor. This will greatly increase the quality of the bowling for all.

UPDATE 11/10/09: Tasha may not be bowling for a while. She has shattered her bowling wrist in a skating fall. Last I heard, she was getting rods & screws put in. We all wish her the best in her recovery and hope it doesn't end her bowling career & fun times.

UPDATE 11/17/09:We recruited a competitors son to join the team, Kurt Copeland. Good kid and decent bowler. He substituted for Pins & Sins a few weeks ago, but I think we are going to keep him around. I also don't have his scoring from that week, but he wasn't on our team so what do I care.

With Tasha being out, we recruited Kurt to join us. He's the son of one of our
